Study Guide: Using The Text |
Read the instructions of the book carefully, since most authors include basic information about how the text is used. The text is a primer, the starting point for audio work. The following steps will be useful for you in preparing for audio work: 1. Read through the dialogues. For Example: 7. Don't stop there! Proceed to the audio work on the dialogues.
If you have studied the text carefully and understand all the grammar rules and usage conventions, you cannot automatically count on a good grade in the course. You will not only be tested on how well you know the grammar of the language, but mainly on how well you can speak and understand it. Knowing about the language and using it are quite different. The latter involves skill aquisition with the audio work.
